About FL Boat Ramps and the data
FL Boat Ramps lists every public boat ramp in Florida from the official Florida Boat Ramp Inventory published by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission – Fish and Wildlife Research Institute (FWC-FWRI). Each ramp has its own page with fees, lanes, hours, trailer parking, restrooms, accessibility, water body, a map and the nearest open ramps.

How the pages are built
The FWC pull holds 2,628 records. 24 are outside Florida (Georgia and Alabama border ramps) and are left out, leaving 2,604 Florida ramps, 2,408 of them open. Every number and sentence on the site comes from those records; nothing is written by AI, and if FWC leaves a value out, the page says "Not listed by FWC" instead of guessing.
Ramp pages ask search engines to index them only when the ramp is open and FWC lists its lanes, trailer parking, restrooms and hours (1,274 ramps today). Other ramp pages stay available to visitors. Closed, destroyed and unclear-status ramps are labelled as such and left out of open counts and "nearest" lists.
We do not show FWC's record "last edited" date: it is the same for every record, so it says nothing about when a ramp was last checked. The date above is when this site pulled the data.

ZIP code search
ZIP code search uses the U.S. Census Bureau, 2024 ZIP Code Tabulation Area (ZCTA) Gazetteer (public domain), bundled with this site: 1,013 Florida ZIP code areas. Distances are measured in a straight line from the centre point the Census Bureau gives each ZIP code area, not from a street address. ZIP code areas approximate USPS ZIP codes; post-office-box-only ZIP codes have no area and are not included. Source file: 2024 ZCTA Gazetteer.
